WHO AM I?

I work as a musician, swimming coach and event producer. I have been a team facilitator since 2010 and love bringing people together to strengthen their creativity, inspire them and help them feel more connected with their team members.

Music, Swimming and Chess are my current passions but I am curious about many things - hence the title of my site - shifting focus!!

I founded an event called The Rip Swim which goes across Australia’s most treacherous stretch of water. The event is about to enter its 10th year and this has been a wonderful way of bringing people together to achieve an exciting shared goal.

As a musician, I have released two solo albums of original music. One of the programs I have set up is a singing experience and I encourage you and your team to try this as it brings people together like no other program can!

As you can see, I ‘wear a few different hats’ and I would love you to try some of them on!!

WHAT DO I BELIEVE IN?

I believe in possibilities, finding your passion and connection. I love to dream but I am also a realist. I think everyone can find something to be passionate about, and when they do, it can bring more meaning to their lives. Sometimes we find more than one passion, then we have to choose our focus more carefully. I have found the game of Chess is very useful to help with these choices and that is why I play. I love teaching adults the game and am always available to do this for you and your team!

WHAT CAN I OFFER YOU?

Specifically, I can teach you Chess, singing and run any activity that your team chooses to do. In broader terms, I hope that I can encourage you to try new things without the fear of failure and inspire you to develop your creativity and curiosity. I am sure that if you take part in one of my sessions (custom options available - just ask) you will leave feeling more curious, more inspired and less afraid to try something you thought you could not do!
